How Churches and Nonprofits Use
YG Delivers for Supply Runs

February 21, 2025 4 min read By YG Delivers

Churches, ministries, and nonprofits in Charlotte do extraordinary work — feeding families, supporting communities, and serving people who need it most. But behind every outreach event, every food drive, every community gathering is a logistics challenge that doesn't always get the attention it deserves.

Who moves the supplies? Who transports the donated goods? Who gets the tables, chairs, and equipment to the venue on time?

For dozens of Charlotte-area churches and nonprofits, the answer is YG Delivers. Here's how we serve the community organizations that serve our city.

Community is everything to us

YG Delivers was built on the belief that logistics should serve people — not just businesses. As a woman-owned, family-run company rooted in Charlotte, serving our community organizations isn't just a service line. It's personal.

What We Move for Churches and Nonprofits

Every organization is different, but the freight needs tend to fall into recognizable categories. Here's what we most commonly handle for Charlotte's faith communities and nonprofits:

Food drives and pantry supply runs
Picking up donated food, supplies, and goods from collection points and delivering them to your pantry, storage facility, or distribution site. We handle bulk loads up to 4,400 lbs with care.
Community event setup and strike
Transporting tables, chairs, equipment, and supplies to your event venue — and picking everything up after it's over. We work around your event schedule, including early mornings and evenings.
Donation pickups and drop-offs
Collecting donated furniture, clothing, goods, and equipment from multiple locations and consolidating them for your organization. We treat donated goods with the same care as any other freight.
Multi-site ministry logistics
If your church or organization operates across multiple Charlotte locations, we can coordinate supply runs between sites — keeping every location stocked and ready.
Time-sensitive outreach deliveries
When your community needs supplies urgently — disaster relief kits, emergency food boxes, crisis support materials — same-day delivery is available across Charlotte and the Southeast.

💡 Many of our nonprofit clients found us because a volunteer's personal vehicle wasn't big enough for the job. Our Dodge Ram ProMaster carries up to 4,400 lbs and 3 pallets — far more than any personal vehicle or small van rental.

Why Community Organizations Choose YG Delivers

Budget matters for nonprofits and churches. Every dollar spent on logistics is a dollar not going toward your mission. We understand that — and we price our services fairly, without hidden fees or surprise charges.

But affordability isn't the only reason Charlotte's community organizations trust us. It's the relationship. As a woman-owned, family-run business, we show up the same way your volunteers do — with care, with accountability, and with genuine investment in the outcome.

The owner picks up every call. You'll never be passed around a call center trying to explain the urgency of a food drive pickup. When you call YG Delivers, you speak to someone who understands what's at stake.

Serving the Full Charlotte Area

We serve churches and nonprofits across all of Charlotte's neighborhoods — Uptown, South End, NoDa, University City, Ballantyne, Steele Creek, West Charlotte, and beyond. Our 100-mile service radius means we can also support outreach efforts in surrounding communities across North Carolina and into neighboring states.
